I was put under the care of Ruby team since I had PND after my last pregnancy. I was terrified the same would happen again. My midwife was Sue Palmer. I was informed about the support available and what to do if I became unwell again. We talked a lot about the part experience, and I was reassured that it doesn't have to happen again. I think that the relief that there would be help meant that I have been fine since the birth of my son. I actually feel really calm and happy. I can't thank Sue enough.

The midwives, Gerry and Joley, endured I had the natural birth I had hoped for. The room was spotlessly clean. We were discharged the same day. It was a very positive experience.

I work as an adult staff nurse in ED, but unfortunately I had the experience of being a patient/relative too! My son was admitted to the paediatric department with croup few weeks ago! Despite the area being overwhelmed by patients my son was treated with an exceptional and professional manner, not to mention the cleanliness,the care and compassion that the staff has shown! Great work guys! All the respect for you for keeping the highest standard of care! I am so proud of being part of the team! And last but not the least, please do not listen to the bad reputation that some "Arses" will try to put on us, this is all political! So sad to see that the general public believes all is written although they have as great experience as I had!

Admitted for broken hip , given bed in gyno ward (!) with those who had suffered miscarriages. Seems not enough beds in wards.
Unable to move well, fell asleep in chair unnoticed from dinner until nearly midnight when another patient called for nurse to move me into bed.
This was during long severe heat-wave with no air conditioning, windows don't open much, thus dehydrated badly from this neglect which caused other severe health problems including heart attack . Fluid & food input not monitored.
Finally moved into ortho ward after that but would have been better off in cardiac ward. In hospital for total 3 weeks which would have been one week with better monitoring. Ortho ward had an ant infestation and dementia patients.
Resident Dr's & nurses kind but this system does not work!
No follow-up from clinics after release but physio came to house for physical therapy 3 days for 3 weeks.

My experience at the hospital has mainly being good, with the odd doctor/nurse not too helpful. However over all good hospital, which I will return to for treatment anytime.

i didnt like the fact that ,you come on you appointed time and then wait for about 40-60 mins to be seen.
